The artist
For forty years he has painted only the light of the Midi — at first light and the last hour before dusk — from a home-studio attic on the edge of Châteauneuf-du-Rhône.

To live with one is to keep a piece of a world that was never meant to leave the studio — and to give a wall not something to fill it, but a point of view.
